You must let go of the desire to make things they are not.
You must let go of the compulsion to fix things by your power.
You must let go of trying to right things, even if you are plainly right.
You must not stake your life on what you can see. You must give up your life for what you cannot see.
You must listen to yourself telling yourself to be a hero. You must listen so you can say no.
You must not pride yourself on your power to say no. You must lean on the community, present and past, which raises your resistance.
Then the devil will have no choice but to get out of your way so you can find some food. Of course, you must let go of this hope as well.
